Hi loves! A checkered shirt is one of the basics you must have in your closet, right? When I saw this one from Suncoo I knew I was going to take it home. A loose fit, a pretty color and a nice price makes a happy Julie. Want to see how I combined this casual outfit?
Together with my talented girl Maja I went to the skatepark in Mechelen to shoot this laid-back outfit. We decided to incorporate the red graffiti wall and in my opinion the result turned out great. Taking the pictures was a bit dangerous though. I wanted to show my heels too but that meant standing on a small ledge and making sure I didn’t fall. Falling meant landing on some concrete and probably losing all my teeth, not the prettiest sight ;-). A lot of balance and a lot of concentration were needed to not fall down. Having to then move on the ledge was the most difficult thing I had even done as a model. Thank you Maja for always pushing my boundaries ;-).
Now a bit about the outfit. I already told you about Acris fashion, the showroom I have been working with for some time now. They showed me the winter collection of Suncoo and it was love at first sight! The checkered shirt was my absolute favorite pick (I also fell in love with this sweater & a LBD that I will show you véry soon), the soft fabric and fun print convinced me to go for it.
I combined the shirt with my DIY ripped jeans and my high heels from GutsGusto. To finish this outfit I took my leather clutch from the amazing Alix the Label (which you can also find at Acris) and my sunglasses from Polette. A perfect laid-back outfit if you ask me.
