Wining & dining at the Eat! Brussels Drink! Bordeaux event

Wining & dining, the perfect way to spend your weekend. Together with my boyfriend and some friends we went to the Eat! Brussels Drink! Bordeaux event in Warandepark. On the menu: a lot of wine and some very yummy meals.

I’m a real wine girl, I love white wine on a summer evening, after a stressful day or at any moment after 12 am. When The Other Agency asked me if I wanted to discover the wine festival Eat! Brussels Drink! Bordeaux I was like a five year old kid receiving candy, du-huh, I want to discover this heaven on earth! So last Saturday we went to see what all of the fuzz was about, I can tell you – it is definitely worth visiting.

As you might have understood already, the main focus of the festival is wine. Red, white, ros̩, sparkly or dry, fruity or sweet Рyou name it, the festival has it. The festival puts all the Bordeaux wines in the spotlight. You can discover different wine brewers and their yummy to very yummy wines.

Next to the wine you can also try out some food, and the festival works together with some of the best chefs in Brussels and far beyond. You can choose out of more than 25 dishes and there was also a tent dedicated to local specialities from different countries.

On the festival you can buy a tasting pass with which you can discover 11 (!) different wines. One advice, do not come by car because you will not be able to drive home. 😉 So the delicious dishes that were served were really welcome after drinking quite a lot of wine!

On the festival you can also get more information about food pairing, about the best wines in our local supermarkets and about the history and production process of the wines.

If you are a sucker for all kinds of wines and good (local) food, you will absolutely love this event. Be sure to stop by next year, and follow everything on their website or facebookpage.
