Photo diary: Amsterdam

Two weeks ago I went to Amsterdam together with my friend Steph to visit the Paul’s Boutique Style Bloggers event. We decided to leave early so we could still do some sight-seeing. Do you want to join us on our day in this beautiful city? You’re more than welcome!

We arrived in Amsterdam at around 11 AM. We were going for brunch together with Annabel who has lived in Amsterdam for over a year now. We decided to eat at Ree7, which is located in ‘De negen straatjes’. We decided to create our own breakfast. I had a really hard time to decide but eventually I went with the American pancakes, so finger-licking good!

Girls love multi-tasking so while we were enjoying our delicious breakfast we also decided where we still wanted to go. Of course we wanted to see ‘De negen straatjes’ and we also wanted to visit the big shopping street for a small bit (what else?!).

It was extremely busy in the shopping street so we didn’t stay for a long time but I did buy a fun cardigan at Pull & Bear which is per-fect for summer. I will definitely show it to you guys later!

Steph and I get along great for several reasons and one of those reasons is our mutual love for wining & dining ;-). For us Sunday means pj’s, a Disney movie and a glass of wine on the couch. So this time around we also wanted to keep things relaxed and prefered to soak up some sun and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

After a second glass of wine we went to the Museum of bags and purses to join the Paul’s Boutique Style Bloggers event. Want to read more about this exclusive event? Read all about it here. I am also giving you another extra sneak peek of the new Paul’s Boutique AW’16 collection, you’re welcome ;-).

We stayed quite some time at the event and afterwards we decided to grab a yummy bite at the Foodhallen, a food market with more than 20 stands of all kinds of food – it was the Walhalla for foodies! We took some delicious nachos with guacamole and afterwards we ate a greasy hamburger (oops!). Around 8 PM we headed back to Belgium. Amsterdam is really fun to visit even for one day, and if you plan to go, be sure to stop by the Foodhallen and order something with your friends, you’ll love it!
