As you all know, last Sunday was Valentine’s day. Albert Heijn spoiled my loved one and me with a delicious brunch in Antwerp. The bread was fresh, the smoothies were cold and the granola was to die for! What a wonderful way to celebrate the day of love.
The brunch took place at Plastron, a new and funky co-working spot close to the MAS in Antwerp. The interior was beautifully decorated with roses, red balloons and very cute napkins. There were multiple tables to have a tête-à-tête but if you wanted you could also sit together with a bunch of people and have a nice chat. I brought my lovely friend Inge with me since my boyfriend wasn’t able to join.
Are you wondering which delicious treats Albert Heijn had in store for us? Well, I can say the range of products was crazy. There were at least six varieties of bread, fresh speltcroissaints, a variety of cheeses and meats, salmon with herb cheese, delicious smoothies and last but not least, yoghurt with strawberries, blueberries and granola! The struggle was real! Albert Heijn also provided some sweet toppings on each table like speculoospasta (yum!), jam and chocolate sprinkles, but we didn’t even get to that part! The bread was simply amazing, it was so fresh! I had never eaten bread from AH before but damn, that is some fine bread right there!
The granola was also simply amazing. I am a real granola lover but I am always too lazy to make it myself (woops), so if I have a brunch somewhere I always take lots and lots of granola to satisfy these cravings ;-). After the brunch we got another wonderful gift, one of the most beautiful flower bouquets I ever received! I am hoping it will stay beautiful for a whole week to feel the AH-love a bit more!
A big thanks to Xian Agency & Albert Heijn for this lovely brunch!
